Look, I know this isn’t an endurance racing news story, but hey, we’re all locked down, so here’s some filler for you!
The Goodwood Members’ Meeting has been a popular winter event for classic motorsports. They are a highlight of the Goodwood Road racing Club’s annual calendar.
Unfortunately, the 78th Members’ Meeting is being postponed until next year. The rescheduled event is now set to take place in the spring of 2021, with the provisional dates set as 10-11 April.
The meeting will follow the original timetable, including the SF Edge Trophy. The Rally Sprint competition and the Gerry Marshall Trophy will also go ahead as planned.
If you have tickets they will rollover to the rescheduled event. If you have tickets, but can’t make it, Goodwood will ‘discuss’ options with you if you contact them.
The Duke of Richmond said: “We were very sad to postpone the 78th Members’ Meeting in March this year, but we’re confident that it was the right thing to do to protect our visitors, competitors and staff. The 78th Members’ Meeting will be our best yet, and we are already working to see how we can add to the spectacular racing we had planned.
“I know that our many fans of the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard and the Goodwood Revival are keen to know how and when their favourite motorsport events will be taking place, and we are exploring a range of options to host events again as soon as we can.”
