Hello, dear readers!
We hope you’ve been enjoying our coverage so far. As we go into our 10th anniversary year, we’ve got some exciting updates that we can’t wait to share with you.
A New Focus
The Rennsport Report has always been fueled by a passion for the racing world’s intricacies and the symphony of engines roaring on the tracks. In 2024, we’re shifting gears to bring a sharper focus to our coverage. We will primarily spotlight the prowess of German manufacturers, delving into their legacy and current forays in major domestic and international sportscar and endurance series. From the engineering marvels at the 24 Hours of Le Mans to the strategic masterclasses in the IMSA SportsCar Championship, if there’s a German marque on the track, we’ll be there to tell the tale.
A Labor of Love
Bringing you closer to the heart of German precision in racing will be no small feat. For the foreseeable future, I’ll be at the helm, navigating the content production solo. It’s a challenge I’m eagerly embracing, driven by my commitment to deliver a unique perspective on the beloved marques of Germany’s finest.
The Road Ahead
Here’s a sneak peek at what we’re planning to roll out:
- Increased Posting Frequency: As we cover more series and zoom in on German automakers, expect more regular updates and features.
- Diverse Content: We’ll go beyond race reports to include exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes insights, technical analyses, and retrospectives on iconic German racing legends.
- Weekly Digest Newsletter: Don’t miss our new weekly digest newsletter, which will capture all the action involving German manufacturers in one place – perfect for fans of German precision in motorsport.

Driven by Passion and Supported by You
This journey is as much yours as it is ours. Without your engagement, your feedback, and your shared enthusiasm for German engineering and motorsport, this wouldn’t be possible. We’re counting on your support as we shift into this exciting new lane.
Buckle up, because 2024 is going to be a year to remember!
Danke und bis bald, JP
