As of the 4th of January, 2024, the motorsport community eagerly anticipates the 62nd Rolex 24 At Daytona, the curtain-raiser for the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, commencing on the 27th of January. In preparation, IMSA.com has diligently updated its comprehensive team and driver roster, ensuring enthusiasts are abreast of the latest developments. The prelude to the prestigious Rolex 24, The Roar Before the Rolex 24, is set to take place from 19-21 January at Daytona International Speedway, with the race week following from 24-28 January.
Delving into the Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) category, there are 11 entries. Key pairings include Sebastien Bourdais and Renger van der Zande for Cadillac Racing, Gianmaria Bruni and Neel Jani for Proton Competition Porsche, and Mathieu Jaminet alongside Nick Tandy for Porsche Penske Motorsport. Notable mentions for the Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) with 13 entries feature Ben Hanley and Ben Keating for United Autosports USA, and Colin Braun alongside George Kurtz for CrowdStrike Racing by APR.
