The climax of this successful season was the prestigious TCR Model of the Year award, marking the third consecutive year and fourth overall win for the Audi RS 3 LMS. The award, calculated by the WSC organization, evaluates the track record of all homologated TCR racing cars across series each year.

Rolf Michl, Head of Audi Motorsport, praised the teams and drivers for their outstanding performances. “What Audi Sport customer racing achieved with and for its customers was once again first-class,” he remarked. The customer racing program saw a record-breaking 876 races in various categories, surpassing the previous global record of 806 competitions set in the prior year.

Each of the four models in the Audi Sport customer racing program contributed significantly to this success. The Audi RS 3 LMS excelled in touring car racing, clinching 111 of 331 races, along with five driver's titles and 22 other class victories. The GT entry-level model, Audi R8 LMS GT4, added 66 victories in 196 races, claiming five titles. The Audi R8 LMS GT2 dominated the GT2 scene with nine wins out of 29 races and four class victories. Lastly, the Audi R8 LMS in its GT3 version continued its impressive track record with 111 victories in 320 races and 46 championship category wins.

Noteworthy achievements included victories in the Fanatec GT World Challenge powered by AWS in Europe by Mattia Drudi/Ricardo Feller and in Australia by Liam Talbot.

The overall win rate of the four Audi Sport customer racing models stands at an impressive 33.9 percent, meaning they won approximately every third race on average. Since the inception of Audi's customer racing program in 2009, it has accumulated 489 worldwide championship titles in overall or class rankings, including 16 overall victories in 24-hour races.

The 2023 season marks a strategic shift in Audi Sport customer racing's commitments, focusing more on supporting its customers' comprehensive programs. Nevertheless, the brand assures continued excitement in motorsport, with many teams relying on Audi Sport's products and services in global categories. Audi Sport maintains its commitment to providing seamless service and parts supply through its regional partners in Asia, Australia, Europe, and Canada.

In summary, 2023 has been a year of remarkable achievements for Audi Sport customer racing, underlining its dominance in motorsport and commitment to excellence in customer support and performance.
