New Horizons in ADAC GT Masters 2024: Youth Development, Class Structures, and Attractive Prize Money

The ADAC GT Masters, renowned for its exhilarating racing events, is set for an exciting evolution in 2024. With a revamped concept, the series is poised to become a formidable platform for nurturing young talents and amateurs in motorsport. Introducing three new valuation classes ensures a dynamic and competitive environment, catering to a diverse range of drivers and teams.

Revolutionising Class Structures for Broader Appeal

Starting from the 2024 season, the ADAC GT Masters will feature an innovative class structure tailored to meet the aspirations of emerging talents and amateur racers. The newly formed Silver Cup will evaluate all drivers classified as 'Silver', competing together in an exciting race format. The Pro-Am-Cup, designed for ambitious amateur drivers, will pair a 'Bronze' driver with a 'Gold' or 'Silver' driver. The Am-Cup is exclusively reserved for two 'Bronze' drivers. This comprehensive restructuring aims to provide equal opportunities for every participant, regardless of their experience level.

A Stepping Stone to Greater Heights: 'Road to DTM'

The ADAC is introducing 'Road to DTM', a pioneering concept that offers a direct pathway for young drivers to progress from ADAC GT4 Germany through ADAC GT Masters to the prestigious DTM. The most promising young driver under 25 years, from the Silver or Pro-Am-Cup will be awarded a coveted spot in the DTM 2025, covering the enrolment fees. This initiative focuses on the racer's on-track performance and values sportsmanship, commitment to the series, and fan engagement.

Incentives and Opportunities: Attractive Prizes and Premier Events

The ADAC GT Masters 2024 incentivizes participation with a substantial prize pool exceeding 570,000 Euros in cash and kind. Teams enrolling before December 15th benefit from particularly favourable conditions. Each of the twelve races will distribute prize money to the top 15 finishers. In addition to monetary rewards, successful Pro-Am-Cup, Silver-Cup, and Am-Cup drivers will compete for tyre contingents from Pirelli, the exclusive equipment supplier.

The 2024 season will witness the ADAC GT Masters hosting four events on the popular DTM platform, ensuring high visibility and spectator engagement. The series will also be part of the ADAC Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, promising an electrifying atmosphere. Overall, the GT series will grace six events, including current and former Formula 1 circuits across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Austria.
